Abstract
The Charter is the work of many renowned experts, activists, laywers and artists to create manifest how to deal with the societal and economic changes the Internet imposed. This year we are working hard to come up with business models for financing artists and other creators of free culture. If you have heard about HADOPI (Fr), ACTA (Intl), Digital Economy Act (UK) or similar efforts to fight filesharing, impose surveillance or harm society to the benefit of big business, then you should read and adopt the Charter, as this is the vision of the people of the internet.
